HTC’s flagship phone, the HTC One 9 is finally official. HTC took the stage and revealed their new smartphone at Mobile World Congress today. Though there aren’t any significant changes added in terms of design to this model, it will yet be a beautiful and strong Android device just as the previous One M8.

She added that, “The HTC One M9 accomplishes this once again with stunning elegance and design, combined with smart features that help bring your world to life, connecting you in a deeper way to the things you consider most important. So much more than just a phone, the HTC One M9 is an extension of who you are.”
The HTC One M9 has an all-metal unibody design which is highlighted by dual-tone silver and rose gold finish along with mirror-polished gold sides integrated into a hairline brushed silver back panel.
The One 9 smartphone adopts a 5 inch full HD display along with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB and can be further expanded upto 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone runs on HTC’s Sense 7 skin atop Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device comes equipped with a 20MP front facing camera along with a sapphire cover lens and an Ultrapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. The camera also shoots movies in 4K resolution. The sensors included are Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Compass Sensor, Gyro Sensor and Magnetic Sensor. HTC believes that the One M9 is the most effortlessly customizable Android phone available.
The smartphone will support a Nano SIM card and in terms of connectivity, the device has Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, HTC Connect, for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to compatible multi-room audio systems, TVs, portable speakers and home entertainment systems, DLNA, for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to a compatible TV or computer along with HDMI MHL 3.0, CIR, micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port and NFC.
In other features, the new One Gallery on the One M9 is said to be easy for users to search through their entire photo library, viewing images saved on the phone, on social media, and on select cloud platforms. The gallery is said to put a whole image library at our fingertips, searching by date, location, event, album or even the images themselves with Image Match. The HTC One family’s iconic dual front-facing speakers are now combined with 5.1 channel Dolby Surround Sound simulation.
The HTC One 9 packs in a 2840mAh battery with dimensions of 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm and weighs 157g. It will be available in Silver, Pink, Gold and gun-mental Grey. No information has been provided about its price or availability.
